LuminateOne is looking for a Software Testing engineer to join their team full-time or part-time.  While the business is based in Matamata this role can work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• evaluating software using automated or manual testing methods and analysing the results
• testing the software by inputting the data and then checks the output by designing and developing tests for software and systems to detect faults
• analysing the defects and bugs to identify what is causing them.
• database verification
• developing or recommending solutions to fix any problems discovered during testing.

They must have experience with:

• navigating and breaking down complex software systems
• Laravel or a similar framework
• Relational Database Experience
• Git /Version Control
• A can-do attitude and a keenness to learn and adapt

And they will ideally have:

• Experience with PHP
• Experience with Vue.js (or another frontend framework like React or Angular)
• Good domain knowledge
• Good logical thinking and
• Good knowledge of programming skills
• Strong analytical skills
• A tertiary qualification in computer science (or related disciplines) is not compulsory but will be considered an advantage.

Experience requirements:

At least 1+ years experience in a Software Testing role.
